Children's View

Ridge and Valley Charter School is a different kind of school. It is very active, very much outside, hands-on, in touch with the world around us. Students learn about the connections between the Earth and everything human beings do. They also investigate how math is related to history and how science and social studies are linked to art and music.
As a student, you are asked to think of creative new ways to explore the world around you and consider how you might do things differently. And we all learn more about how we can create a way of living that will allow plants, animals, water and air as well as us to become healthier so we can all be around for a very, very long time.
Rather than getting letter grades, our students get detailed write-ups about their work. They follow their own interests and learn in ways that work best for them.

Ridge and Valley Charter School just might be the most fun you'll ever have learning.
To learn more bring your parents to a public information meeting -- or even come to a Trustee meeting.
